In January 2011 CIBA VISION UK and Ireland held our first ever live web event focusing specifically on business issues affecting the UK optical market and strategies for business growth in 2011. This coincided with the launch of a new book from CIBA VISION, “Maximise your practice success with contact lenses", which contains insights from research and global best practices within optics and beyond.

This live web event featured leading optical business consultant Patrick Myers and discussed many of the key business issues faced by UK practices including financial indicators, practice marketing and effective staff management. In addition to the presentations it features an interactive Q&A session with both the live audience and those joining remotely, via the Internet.
