CIBA VISION understands that the years spent studying to become an Eyecare Professional can be the most enjoyable, exciting but also demanding of your career. We also believe that supporting the future of the profession is among the most important service we can offer to the optical community. Therefore this section of the Academy for Eyecare Excellence has been developed specifically for those students studying at either university or in their pre-registration year.

The Academy provides a range of tools and functions that provide practical support as you make the transition between student and professional.

• 'Surviving Pre-reg' is an indispensable account of pre-registration life including tips on getting the best out of the year.
• There will be regular featured profiles on Academy for Eyecare Excellence Faculty members. The profile will provide a fascinating insight into the career pathway of the featured member as well as their top tips for students.
• The ‘Ask the Faculty’ is an interactive element of the Academy which allows students to draw on the vast knowledge of our renowned Faculty. Students will be able to pose their burning clinical or business questions to the Faculty on the site and will receive an answer from one or more of the Faculty as appropriate.
